| Revisionist History - 3/21/7 | | I know I keep mentioning songs that never appear. I'd like to think that's because I'm becoming more of a perfectionist. The reality is that I can't physically spend much time in the studio. On top of that I've been crazy busy with non-SMYS stuff. I'm sorry. I'm still tweaking the mixes of Reason To Live and Dreams of Death. They'll make it here eventually. I've also embarked on a new project. sellmeyoursoul is coming up on its tenth birthday. As a result, I've been taking a look back. At first, I was planning on re-releasing some of the older songs here, but as much as I like them, I'm fairly disappointed with the execution of most of them. Instead, I've decided to remix them. They may sound similar or they may be mangled beyond recognition. I've just started the extraction process, which is slow and I expect this project will take the better part of the year. I've got a couple of new tunes in the hopper as well. We'll see what comes out. |
